Founded in 1887 by the architect Anatole de Baudot, a former pupil of the famous Viollet-le-Duc, the Chaillot School in Paris has more than 135 years' experience in training architects to safeguard heritage sites.

It is exhibiting the study plates and drawings of their architects-in-training at the Monuments Historiques department under the medieval oak framework of the Farinier at Cluny Abbey. Their analyses reveal the full complexity of the site, illustrated by magnificent plates of drawings recreating the architectural wealth studied.
