building a sustainable future

Spotlight on heritage and its players!

The medieval Farinier at Cluny Abbey is opening its doors to the Cité de l'architecture & du patrimoine in Paris (Ecole de Chaillot) for a brand new exhibition! The exhibition features the sketchbooks, models, photographs, tools, materials and videos of the architects-in-training working for the Monuments Historiques under the medieval oak roof of the Farinier.

Discover what it's like to work in the field of built heritage, and in particular as an architect for French buildings, through examples of restoration work carried out in Burgundy-Franche-Comté! Their analyses reveal the full complexity of the site, illustrated by magnificent plates of drawings recreating the architectural wealth studied.
